Pierre Galissant has been awarded a grant fellowship by the STIC Doctoral School (Paris-Saclay University) for a Ph.D on « White-box Cryptography and Code Obfuscation », starting on October 1st, 2019, under my supervision.

I co-organize Mathematics behind Blockchain from September 30th to October 2nd, 2019. During the 3 days of this session of the Interface programme, academics and industry will meet to share a common understanding of these « blockchain » technologies, starting from basic concepts to go to advanced cryptographic primitives that allow to manage the confidentiality of data in particular in a distributed environment.

The Round 2 candidates of the Post-Quantum Cryptography call were announced January 30, 2019 by the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA): among the 25 selected algorithms, 6 are from the RISQ project, and 2 from UVSQ.

The book Guide to Pairing-Based Cryptography (Chapman & Hall/CRC) has been published (December 2016). It is intended primarily for engineers, professionals from academia and security industry, as well as to undergraduate and graduate student in applied mathematics, scientific computing, computer science, microelectronic. It can be used as a textbook for a graduate course, for an advanced undergraduate course or for a summer school. It will serve at a self-contained handbook and detailed overview of efficient implementation of pairing based cryptography, with programming examples.

- Description : Le projet CRYPTOCOMP vise à mettre au point la première véritable plateforme de cryptocalcul pour le cloud. Plusieurs fois exploratoire, CRYPTOCOMP s'appuie sur la multi-disciplinarité de son consortium pour concevoir des outils logiciels innovants permettant à des opérateurs de services de développer et d'instrumenter concrètement des applications de cryptocalcul à très faible surcoût de génie logiciel.
